Visiting the Center
The Center is open to the public Thursday through Saturday, 10 am to 5 pm year round. Guided tours are at 10:30 am and 2:00 pm.

Painted Bunting Walks

Every Saturday in May, 8-11am at the Center

Walk the Center grounds with an expert in search of the colorful Painted Bunting.  Participants may also get the opportunity to see Summer Tanagers, Cuckoos, a variety of Warblers and a wading bird rookery with nesting Ibis, Egrets, Herons, Anhingas, and even Woodstorks.

$20 participation fee also includes access to the morning tour and flight demonstration.

RSVP required.

International Migratory Bird Day

Saturday, May 11th, all day at the Center

Come out and help us celebrate avian migration with special activities.

Regular admission rates apply. 

Armed Forces Day

Saturday, May 18th, all day at the Center

Active duty military with id will receive free admission to the Center and their guests will get 50% off.

June

Teacher Appreciation Day

Saturday, June 1st, all day at the Center

Teachers with id will receive free admission to the Center and their guests will get 50% off.
