Elliott founded the Charleston Raptor Center in 1991 in response to the
hundreds of birds of prey injured in South Carolina each year. The

United States and abroad, including the Rocky Mountain Raptor Program

Minnesota at St. Paul, and the National Birds of Prey Center in the U.K.
